My fist git commit was 2018-04-15, and the project went through some lulls along the way.  Many thanks to Krystman's video "We are all beginners".  It made me realize that I was poking around in PICO-8 land because I wanted to release something cool and polished, but that the quickest way to get there was not to start something new, but to do the work to polish up Vortex and get it "out the door".  That was 2021-02-25, and 15 days later it is release party time! Wooohooo!
